REUSE PLANS FOR BUFFALO CENTRAL TERMINAL TAKE A HUGE STEP FORWARD
BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo Central Terminal reuse project took a massive step forward today toward its future as an economic and cultural hub for the community. The City of Buffalo Common Council approved a Designated Developer Agreement (DDA) for the Central Terminal Restoration Corp. (CTRC) to purchase and develop 59 Memorial Drive. Three nearby vacant parcels are part of the DDA. This agreement enables the CTRC and its Development Team to conduct predevelopment work on the City-owned part of the historic Central Terminal site, which is adjacent to the CTRC-owned property. Together, this creates a game-changing 30-acre redevelopment project.

BUFFALO, NY – Momentum at the Buffalo Central Terminal continues with the announcement of critical next steps to advance the reuse of this living landmark—beloved by a city, admired by a nation. Today, the Central Terminal Restoration Corp. (CTRC) shared an update on the $33 million construction project underway, and the Development Team shared a plan of action to transform the Mail & Baggage Building and the Post Office Building.
