Buffalo Takes Community Placemaking Grants Competition by Storm

 The Buffalo Central Terminal, Buffalo Heritage Carousel, and Buffalo Urban Development Corporation Receive All 3 Awards

The Buffalo Central Terminal will leverage this funding to transform the Great Lawn from an under-designed, grassy lawn into a highly activated green space for the sharing of civic experiences.

Broadway-Fillmore, Central Terminal, and Broadway Market Receive $10 million in State Funding

Governor Hotchul announced that the Broadway-Fillmore Neighborhood, Buffalo Central Terminal, and the Broadway Market will be receiving $10 million through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) to catalyze economic development. Funding will be allocated through a community-driven process.

Welcome Art Entry Doodle Portal Installed at the Central Terminal

The Welcome Art entry at the Buffalo Central Terminal was unveiled today. Doodle Portal was created by artist Nando Alvarez Perez and integrates art created by youth at the Matt Urban Center. This project was made possible with support from Fillmore District Council Member Mitch Nowakowski, the June Farrington Fund at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, and East Side Avenues.
