At 6pm\, the air will be filled with the sounds of live music. \nMEET THE ARTISTS \nVitamin D: In 2022\, then-Buffalo News music critic Jeff Miers called these Buffalo masters of soul\, funk\, R&B\, pop\, and indie rock soul\, hip hop “a meeting ground for some of the finest and most adventurous musicians in the region.” Led by singer/guitarist Vin DeRosa\, the group includes keyboardists Rod Bonner and Toney Rhodes\, drummer Carl “Flute” Johnson\, percussionist Geraldo Castillo\, bassist Matthew James Castronova\, and saxophonist Ken Witman. \nElliot Scozzaro Trio: The members of this trio of jazz musicians spend part of their time in the classrooms of local colleges and universities\, transforming students into the next generation of music makers. Led by Elliot Scozzaro (SUNY Fredonia and Buffalo State University) on alto saxophone\, the trio is rounded out by pianist George Caldwell (University at Buffalo) and upright bassist Joseph Goehle (Brockport High School).
