DESCRIPTION:We’re hosting a group of preservationists from the Association for Preservation Technology International conference in Buffalo from 6-9PM for a free open house that will feature tours and informational sessions about the Central Terminal and its storied history. \nMayor Byron W. Brown and Assemblywoman Peoples-Stokes will be on hand for a press conference at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday at the Terminal to proclaim Sept. 22 Watch Day in Buffalo\, and talk further about the building’s latest progress. \nThis event will also feature 6 Minute Building Stories\, or 6Mbs\, which is part of a larger Building Stories dialogue. 6Mbs is an informal and fun gathering featuring presentations by esteemed speakers from diverse cultural disciplines. Speakers present their building story through 18 images. The total time allotted for each slide is 20 seconds and\, as the slide changes after 20 seconds\, so does the related verbal content. \nThis event is part of the APT 2018 50th Anniversary Conference and open to the Public. The event is free; food from food trucks and drinks from the wine/craft beer reception will be available for purchase.

Well come and find out…and help support the host location in the process. \nThe night will consist of everyone breaking off into groups and each group will explore areas of the terminal like Fedele’s Apartment\, the Trolley Lobby\, Baggage Claim area\, and more. We will use different paranormal and spirit communication equipment to attempt to make contact and/or capture paranormal activity. Each group will rotate throughout the designated areas and will have a chance to investigate the paranormal at each location. You are also allowed to bring your own equipment if you like.

Stand in the exact location in the Central Terminal where this haunting evidence was captured! Hear and see what was caught that possibly can prove that paranormal activity does exist at the Buffalo Central Terminal. These tours will take you above the concourse on the office floors as well as below the main concourse in the dark and ominous Trolley Lobby! Get your tickets soon as these popular tours are limited per tour group and have sold out in the past. \nTours will run about 45 minutes long. Please wear comfortable shoes with no open toes. There is a lot of walking and many flights of stairs in this tour. Please use your judgement if you are physically able to take the tour. Dress according to outside weather conditions. Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time. We recommend this experience to ages 13 and over only with adult supervision.
