New expanded tour schedule for 2012! The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation has added additional tours for 2012. Come learn about the history and architecture of Buffalo Central Terminal. Reservations are recommended but not necessary, by writing in to questions@buffalocentralterminal.org or leave a message at (716)810-3210 with your name and number of people in your party, and date/time desired. You will not receive a confirmation of reservation unless specified date/time is unavailable. A designated donation per person will be collected at the door, cash, check or credit.
Historic and Architectural Tours: $10/person May 20th, June 10th, June 24th, July 8th, July 22nd, August 5th, August 19th, September 2nd, & September 16th. All tours start at 11 am and are approximately 2 hours in length. Wheelchair access available. Photography is allowed for personal use only from a hand-held camera. Please note the following equipment is NOT permitted tripods, monopods, easels, stools, props, models, video. You must keep up with your tour group. Please do not touch or move any objects or artifacts due to building conditions. Professional photographers and artists desiring more time to photograph the interior of the Central Terminal, please refer to and sign up for our scheduled Photographer Days. 2012 Friends of the Central Terminal Only Tour will begin at 11am on Sunday September 23rd. Become a friend by clicking here.
13th Floor Tower Tours: $20/person, 16+ only Sunday October 7th. Tour consists of groups of 15 at a time, leaving every half hour from 10am-2:30pm, ending at 3:00pm. You must be able to climb stairs, sorry no wheelchair access available. Reservations strongly recommended by emailing in to questions@buffalocentralterminal.org. Please provide name and number in party, and what time you’d like. A confirmation email will be returned to you. Payment is made at the door, cash preferred, or credit cards accepted.
Photographer Days
Sundays July 15th and August 12th.
Reservations required by writing in to questions@buffalocentralterminal.org. Please provide your name and the date of your choice. Admission is $100.00 per person. Tour length is from 11:00am to 1:00pm. There is a limit of 50 people per day. Tour areas to include, but are subject to change prior to event dependent on building conditions, are the concourse, mezzanine, the approach and lawns, and the trolley lobby. Guidelines of equipment allowed are tripods, monopods, still photography only, no video, no props, no models, no staging. Access to electricity is limited, and for a fee. All guidelines are subject to change at the discretion of event supervisors.
Private Tours
Please contact us directly with the name of your group, the size of the group, and desired date and time. Tours are dependent on building and staff availability.
Photo Shoots/Photography Policy
Interior photography for personal use is allowed on all scheduled tours and during events.
Professional photographers and artists wishing to photograph the Central Terminal should make reservations for our scheduled Photographer Days. The Central Terminal Restoration Corp. (CTRC) reserves the right to reject uncooperative guests that are not compatible with our mission or who put undue burden on CTRC property or staff.
Renting the Central Terminal
The Central Terminal is not available for private events, private parties, or wedding receptions. We do partner with other organizations to host events that raise funds for the Central Terminal.
