A Call for Volunteers

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

It’s that time of year again, where we get ready for Dyngus Day and the season ahead of us. We have a few things coming up that we need volunteers for, starting with…

March 15th for the clean up and set up of the Dyngus Day areas starting at 9:00am to about 1:00pm. We will be cleaning the restaurant and entrance area. Individuals are encouraged to dress warm and to bring gloves and cleaning items, if available. A light lunch will be served. If you are interested in helping, just show up that day, everyone is welcome.

Then of course, the Dyngus Day party and parade March 24th. We are looking for 2 shifts - 1) From 4:00 to 8:00-Need about 18 (Entrance, tickets/merchandise, ice bar, beer sales, floaters) and 2) 8:00 to 11:30-Need about 12 (entrance, tickets/merch, bar, floaters). You will need to be 21+ to work the bar areas. Those interesting in volunteering for a shift (or both!) please contact Erwin directly at rakoczy12@gmail.com.
