Rain or Shine, the Central Terminal Restoration Corp. is holding it’s 15th Annual Spring Clean-Up on Saturday May 12 from 9:00am to Noon at 495 Paderewski Drive. Volunteers are asked to come ready to work with gloves, sturdy footwear, and in work attire. Over the years, this event has positively transformed the Terminal’s grounds, making it a point of pride in the community, allowing the Terminal to be used for events that generate much needed funds to further preserve and restore the building.
The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation (CTRC) was founded in 1997 to oversee the stabilization and restoration of the New York Central Terminal in Buffalo NY. The Terminal complex includes and 18-acre site that hosts an art deco office tower, passenger concourse and 4-story baggage building. In 2011 the CTRC released its master plan that outlined various infrastructure needs and development opportunities. The mission of the CTRC is to ensure that the original grandeur of the Central Terminal is available to current and future generations.
