Neighborhood Children to Participate in Terminal Day at Coca-Cola Field
200 Tickets to be given to Eastside Youth as Part of Ballpark’s Celebration of Landmark
WHO: Buster Bison and members of the Buffalo Bisons to make ticket presentation to the Matt Urban Human Service Center; tickets will be used to take 200 inner city youth to ballgame.
WHAT: On Saturday, the Matt Urban Human Service Center will take receipt of 200 tickets to attend Central Terminal Day at the Ballpark. The day is scheduled for Thursday, August 5th with the highlight being the distribution of a limited edition, miniature replica of Central Terminal. The offer will be limited to the first 4,000 fans through the Swan Street gate at Coca-Cola Field. The gates open at 6 pm; game starts at 7:05.
In support of the efforts to rebuild one of Buffalo’s most beloved landmarks, $4 from each ticket will be donated to Central Terminal Restoration Corporation. In addition, the Terminal will sponsor historical exhibits and present updated information about current restoration plans.
