Central Terminal is also one of the 5 finalists for the Artvoice Best of Buffalo poll for “Save this Building” and former President Mike Miller was nominated for “Best Individual Activist”. The awards are given out at their annual Bash at Town Ballroom on April 26th. Thanks to everyone who voted for us.
Grants? When was the last time the CTRC recieved a Grant? I love Buffalo Rising they don’t check any facts just make up a story that sounds like progress is happening. Now a story would be to look into the books of the CTRC and see how mismanaged they are. If vistors only knew where their money was going they would think twice about spending their hard earn money there. The Board of the CTRC is elected by the board themselfs to keep the building as a private clubhouse for them. You the vistors pay for that. Think twice before you attend the next event. They DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU, YOUR SAFTEY OR YOU ENJOYMENT just how much money they can pocket after each event!
To the contrary, we received a grant this year, which will be announced in accordance with the grant requirements. All money we receive goes directly back into the project, as we have 0 paid members. You are correct in that Board members are elected by the Board, in accordance with our By-Laws which are posted here.
