This Saturday from 6pm-11pm is our annual Oktoberfest celebration! Enjoy an evening of music in the concourse “beer garden” with “Buffalo’s Most In Demand German Band!!”, The Frankfurters! Beer by Spaten and Flying Bison, food by Ulrich’s Tavern, soft drinks and merchandise will be available. Tickets are $10 and include one drink. Guests in costume get in for free!
This sounds like a great time. Is it a 21 and over only type of event or is it OK to bring the kids along?

We attend the annual Waldfest German celebration each year in July. This event was attended by over 3900 American and Canadian attendees. Its at Spring Garden in Marilla. Its loads of fun and it provides each reserved table of 10 with a quarter keg of beer or table of 20 with a half. There are no beer lines to contend with. I would suggest this procedure for Central Terminal “Octoberfest” as it greatly simplifies the beer situation and eliminates waiting in line. Tables are reserved around May for the July celebration with company checks or credit card payment in advance. I recall a half went for $240 and extra for keg deposit and tap deposit. Imported German beer was more than the domestic beer. I and many others hope you can consider a group buying a quarter or half keg in advance.
