2009 United Way Day of Caring

Yesterday, as part of the United Way Day of Caring, volunteers from Praxair and Rich Products assisted with three projects coordinated by the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation. The volunteers helped by weeding, mulching, and planting the Memorial Drive/Paderewski Drive traffic circle, maintained by the Buffalo Federation of Women’s Clubs, helped the Curtiss Urban Farm Foundation with the various gardens planted around the Terminal, and assisted the Broadway Market Tenant’s Association with painting in the parking garage and landscaping in front of the Market. The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation is extremely grateful to the volunteers from Praxair and Rich Products, and to the United Way for helping to improve the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood once again!
