Hey Charles, you forgot to mention the outcome of the Detroit court hearing on June 23 that ruled NO demolition of MCS! We were all aware here that it was on the 'demolition list'. I'm glad that the folks there are finally getting their group organized. Thanks to Stanley Christmas for filing the lawsuit to block the demolition of MCS, Walter Victor for creating the http://michigancentraldepot.com website and circulating the online petition to rally support for the cause, and John Bigger for creating the facebook page. We're looking forward to sharing ideas with that group once they get established. In the meantime, our work here continues!

How well was it attended? It seemed to generate a lot of info from various media. Was the gathering considered a success?

The 80th party was really awesome. It was really organized and I really liked the new features like the new railings, the clock, and of course the new plaque. Also, what other projects are going to be undertaken in building with the money you recieved from the different events such as this?
