The TAPS event won’t have any affect on the Saturday morning work session, will it? If you need more volunteers to work the event, give us a shout. What was that website for the live streaming video of the investigation again? I think it was mentioned on the WNYGH website.

I do not know what the building committee is planning for Saturday. Given the times of the event it shouldn’t interfere with any work, but you would need to check with them. I’m not sure of the website I’ll have Ryan poke his head in here.

The live streaming from the terminal never got up and running because the internet is not active at the terminal. Maybe in the future when a internet connection from a new provider is installed, we can still do the live streaming camera.

Is that what that wooden box in front of the building with the antenna sticking out the top of it was? I noticed it was gone the last time I was up, about a week and a half ago. (Anyone out there have Hughes (DirecWay), Wild Blue or some other satellite internet they would like to let us use for the event? Mount the dish on your truck and c’mon up, and sight it in when you get there! Or maybe Verizon EVDO (3G) internet?)

Too late for this event. Hopefully this summer, the live streaming camera will get installed and working.

Yes, the wooden box was part of the cell equipment on the roof.

Does anyone know any ham radio operators that may be interested in installing a repeater at the terminal? I think the ham radio community has a way of accessing internet though their repeater network.

May 22nd, 2009 at 11:48 am
You should bring your own.

I caught Jenny Rizzo’s report on channel 7 tonight at 11pm. I hope everyone had a great time tonight searching for ’spiritual energy’, and hopefully found some!

We have about 30 tickets left for Sunday.
