May Ghost Hunt at Central Terminal

Due to popular demand the CTRC along with the WNY Ghost Hunters is proud to present a special opportunity to investigate the Central Terminal for paranormal activity.

On the heels of the TAPS Celebrity Ghost Hunt we invite those who could not attend to spend Sunday, May 24th, with us. The event will run 7pm – 1am. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online at Brown Paper Tickets (tickets will not be available at the door). Visit with special guests Mason Winfield and Psychic Michelle Hall.

We’re happy to offer a discounted ticket for those attending the TAPS event – come back for a follow up investigation for only $30. You’ll need a special password to buy tickets online, and tickets will be available at the building on both May 22 and 23.

Please be aware, this is not part of the TAPS event and none of the TAPS members will be in attendance. This event is 18+ years old only, sorry!

How come this event is an 18+? I’m surprised because the TAPS event is an all age event. I’m just wondering thats all.

PS: Keep up the great work with this building. You guys are doing a wonderful job saving this buiding.

  2. Sara Etten says:

If someone under 18 wants to come they must be accompanied by an adult. Technically the TAPS event is 18+ also (with the same condition)

As an avid ghost hunter myself, I am hoping you will open the terminal to ghost hunts frequently like rolling hills does. I think this would be a great way to allow us to investigate and explore the building in a legal and interesting way while generating much needed funds to help support the building. Will you be doing other ghost hunts in the future, with or without the taps crew?

  5. Sara says:

If this one goes well and there is enough interest from the paranormal community, we probably will have others. No guarantees tho!!

  6. Paul G says:

Maybe Ryan and the gang will be able to give us all some further insight on that.

My girlfriend and I really would have liked to attend the TAPS session however we missed out on the tickets. We were wondering if there will be a write up on the event and the findings or when it will be televised (if it will be at all). We would love to purchase such write up if it is made available to the public and would also be EXTREMELY interested in another ghost hunt at either the Central Terminal or other places in WNY.

There are no plans for this to be on tv, except possibly snippets on local news. Ryan can say more about the event being podcast. We are having our own ghost hunt, without TAPS, on Sunday. See the event page for more details!

Hi, I will be attending the ghost hunt with Mason Winfield. should I bring a flashlight? any other items necessary, never been on a hunt, as most ghosts have been in my house.

  10. Ryan says:

Yes! Bring a flashlight for sure! Also, where comfortable shoes or sneakers. NO open toed sandles or flip flops. I also recommend you bring a digital voice recorder (You can get one for $30 or less at Walmart, etc.), and a digital camera to take pictures. But at the minimum, bring a flashlight. Thanks for the question, and see you Sunday!

You really need to empty your phone mail box. Not certain when tickets sold out, but I read about it in the calendard of Buffalo Spree’s last issue and for weeks of calling, multiple times, the same “Mail box full” message repeated.

  12. Sara Etten says:

The phone mail box is always full because we are constantly called and hung up on by telemarketers. We could empty it every day and it wouldn’t matter.

The TAPS event has been sold out for several months. Ticket for Sunday’s ghost hunt, without TAPS are still available.
