First, great job with the High Speed Web site. Second this is great location on the main lines. Now is the time to move on faster passenger service to NYC and possible to Chicago. Let's get more support for this project and connecting Metro rail to the terminal and airport. Gasoline is not going to stay at $2.25 a gallon.

If you want the passenger trains that the Central Terminal tomorrow (which I do) then make extending the Light Rail to the Airport a priority TODAY!

Mike Miller, its worth a phone call to the NFTA and the GBNRTC to:
1) extend the light rail to the Central Terminal and the Airport
2) move the downtown bus station to the Central Terminal
3) move the offices of the NFTA and the GBNRTC to the Central Terminal
4) relocate the DL&W (Light Rail) maintenance sheds to the Central Terminal

Mike Miller, its also worth contacting Buffalos World Trade Center and UBs center for GEM to relocate to the Central Terminal. Their location at the Central Terminal would make the Building a Center for Logistics (which it naturally is).

I see the houses surrounding the Central Terminal being demolished. The Central Terminal should be redeveloped along the lines of the Larkin District with a strong office/business district surrounding the Central Terminal.
