Mayor Brown at the Terminal

Mayor Brown at the Terminal

We were honored to spend about an hour with Mayor Brown and City Counsel Alisa Lukasiewicz at Saturday’s clean up. We got to show them some of our ongoing projects and discuss the potential of bringing high speed rail to the terminal. I told the Mayor that we greatly appreciate his public support for this initiative as well as his past support of our project.

Thanks, Mayor Brown and Alisa, for the great opportunity to show you what we do!

Plaque Update

Friday, April 24th, 2009

We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have helped, thus far, by making donations to our cause. Thank you too to our Dyngus Day volunteers, who helped to make the event a HUGE success, serving our largest Dyngus Day crowd ever. Donations collected have pushed our plaque fund to 61% of our goal.

Please help to restore the life and spirit of one of Buffalo’s finest landmarks. Become a part of the 80th anniversary. Direct your heartfelt dedications to Plaque Fund, Buffalo Central Terminal Restoration Corporation, PO Box 468, Buffalo N.Y. 14212; and please note “Plaque Fund” on your checks. You may also donate online, using the PayPal link below.
Thank you for your thoughts and dedication to the Terminal and this meaningful project.
Sincerely.

May Ghost Hunt at Central Terminal

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

Due to popular demand the CTRC along with the WNY Ghost Hunters is proud to present a special opportunity to investigate the Central Terminal for paranormal activity.

On the heels of the TAPS Celebrity Ghost Hunt we invite those who could not attend to spend Sunday, May 24th, with us. The event will run 7pm – 1am. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online at Brown Paper Tickets (tickets will not be available at the door). Visit with special guests Mason Winfield and Psychic Michelle Hall.

We’re happy to offer a discounted ticket for those attending the TAPS event – come back for a follow up investigation for only $30. You’ll need a special password to buy tickets online, and tickets will be available at the building on both May 22 and 23.

Please be aware, this is not part of the TAPS event and none of the TAPS members will be in attendance. This event is 18+ years old only, sorry!
