I wouldn’t mind investigating with TAPS if they ever come back to this place again. TAPS are one of the coolest people in the world. If TAPS did not exist then Ghost Hunting would not be the same because they launched a fleat of paranormal investigators. I’m one of the paranormal investigators that was inspired by them. Before I found out about TAPS, I’ve read and studied many paranormal books and watched many documentarys about ghosts for a long time. So far I’ve been studying the paranormal for 7 long years.

Maybe you should study english Ozzy, so you would know how to spell fleet. Alot of people wouldn’t mind investigating with them. Get in line. You sound like your 12. Anyways it was a great episode. I have always been facinated by the train station and have been there a few times. I plan on visiting it more often now.

    Hey DaveyG-
    A lot… 2 words
    Fascinated… s’s are fascinating, aren’t they?
You shouldn’t poke fun when you are in need for an English lesson yourself. I think the Ghost Hunters episode was great PR for the Central Terminal. Hopefully the CTRC will use this as a platform to promote the many enjoyable aspects of this phenomenal building. I do however take issue that the the organization has decided to build bathrooms in the waiting room. I thought the station was going to be restored? This plan sounds as though it will jeopardize the integrity of the building. No wonder the ghost of Tony Fedele is telling people to go home…

  4. Ozzy says:

Well DaveyG, I’m 16 years old and it was only one spelling error. So come on man, you really shouldn’t poke fun of people if you don’t even know them.

I just caught the GH video on SciFi rewind. They did play it up a bit with the usual spooky music in the background, but as they reassured Tracy at the end, there is probably nothing to fear. Aside of seeing and hearing things, no one has really been attacked, and probably won’t. Spoken to, maybe. (Right, Adam?)
I don’t quite know what to make of the voice recordings. I’m not an expert on white noise, but they didn’t sound like yelling or screaming to me. It sounded more like someone talking in a hoarse voice. There again too it was computer enhanced. But if it was heard on several levels of the building by all members of the team when it happened it could have been perceived as yelling. And the DV camera shutting off 9 minutes into recording was a bit weird.
I think the presences there want to see the place come alive again someday too, and they will probably have a new role there when it does. They know they will be happier then. The lady the team communicated with is waiting for the trains to come back, as many others there probably are.
Who knows, maybe someone might briefly see the apparition of the big lamps reappear, lit up, on their marble pedestals at the main concourse entrances, with people around them, before they quickly fade away again, just like with the drinking fountain on the third floor. (At that moment they might momentarily disappear, and then reappear at their present location in Hong Kong or Macau!)
Yeah, I hope Jason and the TAPS team get to come back someday and pick up where they left off. They haven’t checked in the clock tower below the clock level, or in the baggage or Railway Express buildings yet. Or the train concouse and platform area. Or the waiting room. Who knows what they might uncover in those places? We’ll have to wait and see.

  6. Ozzy says:

Well I’ve been through the Railway Express building many times and I won’t investigate it. Some reasons why is it is open to the elements, a good friend of mine told me he found a homeless guy living there, and the building is in horrible shape. To be honest I don’t know what the future is for the Railway Express Building. I preservationists will find away to restore it. I don’t think there is much REA Buildings anywhere.

  7. Paul G says:

Come to Mobility, Ozzy, and we’ll see what ideas people come up with for its reuse.

Back to GH, I think if we could find a psychic medium who either didn’t charge much, or even volunteered their services as ghost whisperer, we might be able to learn more about the presences there through someone who can interface with them. Who they are, why they’re there, etc..
The reason the LED’s on the K2 meter went nuts was probably because the woman they were communicating with was trying to tell them something, but with her voice being inaudible to human ears, that was the only device there sensitive enough to pick it up.
When I heard the recording ‘Go home!’, it made me think of Terminator II, when Arnold climbed aboard the tractor trailer, and told the driver ‘Get out!’, before thowing him out of the cab.
Also, instead of ‘Bring back the girls’ or ‘Bring back the pearls’, how does ‘Bring back the goods’ grab you? Was there a robbery or heist committed somewhere, and maybe a few of those involved were seen passing through the terminal, from one train to another, like maybe in the gangster years of the 1930′s? We don’t know.
It would also be interesting to tap and monitor any old telephone wiring that’s still there and try to pick up ‘ghost phone calls’ made many decades ago. Capture and analysis of ‘white noise’, if it really exists. Research has been done on it.
(I saw the Michael Keaton film, and it looks intriguing, but also very dangerous.)
True, this is not ‘The Twilight Zone’, but you never know!

  8. Sara Etten says:

It was decided to build a temporary structure for bathrooms in the building, because the actual Mens room off the waiting room has structural issues which made it too difficult to restore at the time (too difficult=too expensive). The bathroom house in the waiting room would be removed when the time comes for restoration of that area.
