Halloween Bash FAQ

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about this weekend’s Halloween Party, which we unfortunately cannot answer. The event is run by Variety Club, and they have not given us the information.

Q: Where can we buy tickets?
A: Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or at the door.

Q: Is the event all ages?
A: The event is 18+ with ID

Q: Where is will call located? How do we pick up tickets?
A: We don’t know where will call will be, but we imagine it will be set up at the main entrance.

Q: Is food and drink included in the ticket price?
A: We don’t think so.

Q: Is the Terminal heated?
A: The terminal is NOT heated. Dress appropriately.

All questions should be directed to Variety Club. You can call them at (716) 854-7577 or maybe call sponsors The Edge 103.3 at 716-881-4555

    To answer some questions,
1.- There isn’t heat in the Central Terminal however, Variety each year provides 4 very large jet heaters to help warm the area. Also, there is plastic sheeting that was hung last year to insulate the terminal more so that the heat that was provided did not escape easily. This sheeting is still in place and will help I’m sure.
2.- Food and drink are NOT included in the price of admission but is available for a minimal amount.
3.-Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, at the door or through Variety. Will call will be in the main entrance of the Terminal and will have a sign designating it as such.
Hope this helps and see you all there!

It’s a shame that the Variety Club’s website does not list this useful information and more.

Just checked TicketMaster and for some reason they say the event is sold out. Called Variety and they have tickets available through their office until 3:30 today.

  4. Rae says:

Since it is sold out can I still get tickets at the door?

Rae, you may want to check some of the local radio stations- one or two might have a few pairs of tickets they’re giving away if you’re the nth caller, but hurry. They’ll be gone before you know it! WEDG is a good bet- they’re one of the sponsors.

There were tickets at the door tonight (that’s how I got in). I believe that ticketmaster stops the ability to purchase before the event at a predetermined time… at what time, I’m not sure. It could be due to the fact that the Variety Club needs time to get the will call tickets in order, etc. before the event starts.

I’m sure they probably reserved a small number of tickets to be available at the door, first come first served, until gone, for late walk-ins. Hope everyone there had a good time! It would be nice if there could be some type of Christmas event put on in the concourse there about mid December. Any suggestions?

    What a party!

There was information on 103.3 The Edge’s website … they were sponsors so information could be found there. They now have images posted from the event as well.

What I have not seen is an attendance number. I arrived early enough to have a great parking spot up by the terminal and when I left at 10pm there were people still arriving and the streets were flooded with car parked almost to Fillmore and heading to Broadway.

    Has anyone heard any numbers???
