The Ghosthunters are now doing an investigation at BCT on May22nd. I would LOVE to go. Buffalo would be a long haul for me though. My husband and I went with them to Trans Allegheny Lunatic Assylum back in July and had an awesome time!!! If you have the time and money to go it is well worth it. They have it posted on their website. We did get a few EVPs at TALA and we played with a K2 meter with Jason and Grant in the stretcher room. They are really cooool guys!!!

On the iTunes download or SciFi Rewind? Maybe Sara could post this info in a new thread so we can get the word out to others interested. Maybe someone could play it at the Mobility show next Saturday. For exhibition purposes, of course.

If anyone wants to help clear out the floors for future investigations you are more than welcome to come lend a hand...and shovel :) Man power is the main reason areas like the office floors have yet to be opened up to the public. There just aren't enough hours in the day, or people willing to get dirty in the building to get the work done. Remember, we're an all volunteer organization and work that we can do ourselves, rather than pay a contractor to do, we do as long as we have the people to do it.

Sci-fi network puts full episodes of all shows on their website. I thought ours would be up by now, a week later, but it's not. Keep checking though http://www.scifi.com/rewind/?sid=32855

I'm surprised the presences there haven't set off the IR sensors in the clock tower security system yet, even as a prank. Maybe they know and respect the sensors well enough to tiptoe past them, or avoid them altogether.

Someday, when surveillance cameras are installed in the terminal, you never know what might turn up on the monitors in the new security office there! If "active" areas appear on some of those cameras, maybe a web link to those cameras could be established for live streaming video access for all interested!

Hey Joe,

That would be really smoking if you could produce a picture of Tony Fedele that maybe one of the websites could post on the internet so people like me who do not live in Buffalo could also see what your father looked like. Joe did you see the Ghost Hunter episode? I am sure they will rebroadcast it, but I am curious if you heard the voice TAPS recorded screaming Go Home and if you can say it sounded like your father's voice. That was a pretty dramatic moment. I am into ghost hunting and have been on a hunt or two myself, but that would have been a major buzzkill for me.

I hope TAPS goes there again in the future and with more crew, however it looks like a pretty dangerous place to be exploring with all of the damage and broken glass. I am surprised they are still using the building for anything, but I hope that they are able to further restore it. Although I have a hard time picturing what it would be used for.

Yeah that would be cool. I would like to do a small paranormal investigation on Fedeles floor. So far I investigated Rolling Hills Sanitarium and Old Fort Niagra. At both these places, I got some really cool evidence.

Has anybody bought a drink from the Pepsi machine in the concourse, put the money in the machine, pushed the button, and heard a voice right behind them saying "That stuff's bad for you, you know!", turned around and saw nobody there? No one else even nearby. That would be enough to freak anybody out!

Thanks Joe, much appreciated! Why don't you c'mon up during the Mobility Across the Ages presentation and introduce yourself to us at the CTRC? If Tom and Mike can make it up too, they are also cordially invited. I would like to meet you and the rest of the surviving Fedele clan that had ties with the terminal. I'm sure the rest of the CTRC members who will be at the program would also.
It's Saturday October 11 from 3pm to 11pm.

Hi to all, it’s funny how stories and tales change over the years. Maybe it’s time to stop by and take a look on what happen to this Old Grand Lady. Also, I could for those who are interested drop off a picture of my late father.

I hope the CTRC secures that building as good as they can cause you know you will have a bunch of amateur "ghost hunters" (kids) breaking in trying to experience something on their own.

On a side note, I've watched every episode of Ghost Hunters since it came on in
'04, and the investigation of the terminal was one of the best I've seen, period.

With the place now haunted I hope TAPS will come back next year and film their Holloween Investigation there. This year they will spend 6 hrs live on TV to investigate Ft Miflin in Philadelphia, PA. Last year it was Waverly Hills Hospital in Louisville, KY. The year before it was the Stanley Hotel where Steven King filmed The Shinning"

BCT needs to get these guys back there. But I hope you guys will have the floors cleared out in time so that they don't have to use the masks. I didn't think the areas were that bad with the dust and debris til they wore the masks. I hope that clearing out the floors between now and Holloween of 2009 will be a top priority.

Wonder how many more hauntings will pop up once the place is fully restored?

My hope is that the DVD release will have uncut footage of this episode too.
Maybe I'll catch a rerun of this one later in the season when I get the dish back up and running again. Too much outdoor stuff to do now before snow flies.

I'm sure info on the construction worker could be researched at a library that has old editions of the Courier Express archived, dating from that time period. It would help to at least know the month and year it happened. It had to have occurred in about 1928 or early 1929, when work on the upper levels was being done, before the grand opening in June 1929. I suspect it may have happened during the winter months, when there was snow and ice up there, and back in those days, very few safety harnesses to wear, some only ropes, which many did not use. And many didn't wear their hard hats either.

Does Ghost Hunters/ TAPS have an online store I could buy the DVD of this episode from? Please post here if anybody knows! Searched SciFi.com and link to Ghost Hunters, but no luck. Others might be interested too. Thanks!
(My dish has been down for a while, and I can't get SciFi right now.)
Still getting set up for digital broadcast TV.
