Photos from the Terminal

All the weird weather lately has certainly stirred the atmosphere up. That also made for some fabulous photographs this evening.

On the shot of the tower, you can almost envision an impending lightning bolt or two and some thunder in the background, suggesting something like (sequel?) “Prison of the Psychotic Damned, Part II”. Or maybe the backdrop for a sci-fi flick, how Buffalo NY in a parallel universe would look.
How’s the roof holding up with all this rain? Any leaky spots that need attention? Drain pipes all working OK?
Actually this photo brings to mind the weather in the shots taken back in September 1997, in the photo gallery, just after Scott Field’s historic deal with the Tuchman’s which freed BCT from its curse of owners that didn’t care, gave birth to the CTRC, and started breathing new life into the terminal. It looked like a pretty miserable day weatherwise when those first shots were taken. I suppose that also reflected the state the terminal was in when the title was transferred.
