“ This magnificent structure has proved throughout its history to be an outstanding, well-suited and historically significant facility for transportation
what are the restoration priorities for 2008?
The Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge
The Waiting Concourse
The electrical/light fixtures
Clearing debree from the tower
Sealing the Mail and Baggage Building
It would be nice to have a few more clean up/restoration days now that the CTRC is on more solid footing with its revenue and events.
It would be nice to have a few more days for a good clean-up. Also Tobe, lots of the stuff you mentioned is very cool but, very costly. It would cost thousands of dollars just to do what you mentioned but, you never know what might happen in the future though.
tobe – If you are interested in volunteering in the building committee, which appears to be what you are referring to, please don’t hesitate to contact our how to help link or come down for a Saturday work party (we have them all year round). In fact there will be a work party at 10AM this Saturday!
To tobe, Ozzy and Bill: They are official work parties, that we have just about every Saturday. If you are referring to it being a Spring Clean Up – it is not.
Ozzy – Either come down on Saturday at about 10AM to talk to our building committee chairmen – Bill or email them via our How to Help Email for the building committee.

I’m not refering to the spring clean-up. Also, what are these work party because I never really heard of them.
It’s just a day to work on small and new projects for a few hours. About 10 CTRC members show up each week.
How can I join?

Thanks Josh.
So will you be there Ozzy?
