Alot has been accomplished within ten years and I hope within the next 10 years the BCT will be completed. A long road yes, but worth the journey. I can't wait to take a trip there one day. I've monitored this website and alot of news in the media about this and I pray it's successful. Here in New Jersey we have Hoboken Terminal which just turned 100 yrs old. Yes it's still an active Railway Terminal that NJ Transit operates trains out of and was never abandoned but the way the terminal looks now compared to ten years ago is like night and day. The old brick clock tower is being rebuilt after the previous one was damaged by a storm and demolished during the 1950s. The ferry slips are being rebuilt as well and should be back in service early next year. The interior had been fully restored back in the mid 1990s. A picture is definantly worth a thousand words. Our projects are modest and smaller scale. Sealing the baggage building will take a couple hundred thousand to complete. We don't have the funds necessary at this point. Any idea what the goals for 2008 will be? Was the restaurant and cocktail bar opened in 2007? I didnt notice when i was there.
