Check out this clip from the old TV show “Route 66″. The clip is approx 6 minutes long, and the scene takes place entirely in Central Terminal.

    That episode was from Season 4, originally broadcast Dec 13, 1963. It’s titled “Come Home Greta Inger Gruenchaffen”. I don’t know what happens in the rest of the show… looks like a typical ’60s setup.
    The BCT looks a little worn for wear in this clip. Not like what it looks like now!

    1963 film clip of Central Terminal from TV Show “Route 66″…

    I was checking out the Central Terminal’s website this evening and found the above…wild stuff…it is nice to get a glimpse of the Terminal like this…it helps refresh my memory of the Terminal as well…

    I wish Home Depot or other Hardware Stores would donate supplies and money so this wonder came shine again. Officals of Buffalo should wake up and save this wonderful building and put tons of money into this building. It could be done and all you have to do is know the right people.

    Wow. That is my Dad sitting at the bar to the left of Tammy Grimes! He had always told us he was on Route 66. But in Dec. of
    63 I wasn’t even a month old yet so this is the first I am seeing it.
